I am installing a fresh Virtual Machine of Windows 10 64-bit on the latest iMac running OS X El Capitan using Parallels Desktop 11 for the Macintosh. I am installing only from an ISO image downloaded from Microsoft through the usual online purchase process. I am installing as an Administrator on the Mac and have insured the file permission levels of the downloaded ISO image are correct and accessible. I start the usual Parallels Virtual Machine installation process which invokes a Windows 10 (blue) 'Starting Setup' dialog window. It processes the installation for about one minute and displays a Windows-style window claiming 'No Images Available'. Are there restrictions as to how Windows should be installed using ISO images or hard media? Has anyone seen this type of error? Does the ISO need to be virtually mounted on the Mac Desktop. Or do I need to burn it to a DVD or load it on a USB drive? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, timsa81.
